Originally from the United Kingdom, Gary Evans is a Chartered Building Surveyor with 20 years of experience providing property and facility management-related consulting services. His experience has covered government facilities, instructional, commercial, residential and operational facilities in both the USA and UK.
Experience:
Before founding GPE Facility Consulting LLC, he provided facility management consulting services for numerous US Government Agencies, including GSA Office of Governmentwide Policy, Department of State, Federal Aviation Administration, and Department of Health and Human Services.
He also reviewed entire Federal Real Property Profile (FRPP) database of over 1.2 million facility assets (buildings, structures and land), analyzed and interpreted results and presented findings to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
In the past few years, he created, developed and tested an innovative, ground-breaking condition assessment modeling technique that allows organizations to easily record and track real-time facility conditions.
He has also provided facility management consulting services for other organizations, including the International Monetary Fund, Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, American Family Insurance, Royal Bank of Scotland, the Culinary Institute of America, Thomas Jefferson University, Bangkok Bank, World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Motorola, The Embassy of France, George Washington University, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Panera Bread, LaSalle Investment Management, The Episcopal High School, and Dyersburg and Berea Community Colleges.
While in the UK he was “Managing Agent” responsible for facility management services for about 120 buildings owned by Wiltshire County Police Force. He was also “Deputy Managing Agent” responsible for day-to-day facility and maintenance management and capital improvements for various United Kingdom government departments, including the Health and Safety Executive, Court Service, Home Office and Inland Revenue.

- Americas Representative for the RICS Global Facility Management and Building Surveying Faculty Boards (region includes North, Central and South America) (2001 – present).
- Past Board member of the Washington DC Chapter of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
